Who even knows where the spleen is located and what it does? Why we couldn’t breathe without our brainstem, and that the tailbone is essential for standing upright?

We know our larger organs, such as the heart, intestines, and lungs, but the smaller ones are all too often underestimated. But we should learn how to interpret the signals of all our organs correctly if we want to understand our body in its entirety – and if we want it to be healthy.
In an entertaining and illustrative way, Lucia Schmidt and Andrea Freund show which cogs are meshing in our brain and make our body function.

A science book that entertains and takes care of our well-being as a side effect.
