Chief Inspector Wendelin Kerschbaumer from Vienna has dedicated his winter holidays to his diet in order to get rid of the extra weight left over from his divorce. And the murder of a young Slovenian woman does not fit with his plans at all. Serenity and diet aside, he is forced to deal not only with the dead woman’s shady relatives and an overzealous journalist but also with the quarrels within the local hotel industry. Always bolstered by the excellent local cuisine, he gets to the bottom of things and realizes that not even Bad Kleinkirchheim is safe from the evils of greed.
